I have been photographing since the age of about 10, family, friends and travel……
It is something I still very much enjoy and am fortunate to be working at it even today.
Living in Croydon its easy to travel to London and am happy to cover Surrey and Kent.
Although if the job/assignment is special I will travel further away.

Weddings, Christenings and Family portraits either on location or at my home are the mainstay of my photography business.

I have photographed for a Japanese guide book on the whole UK. This took me from Lands End up to Inverness via many towns & cities in-between.  They also publish a book on London.  These books get updated every other year and I have been lucky to have working for them for about 10 years now with regular updates of popular restaurants, shops and hotels.

I have been asked twice to photograph for the JCB Japanese credit card magazine. A new Japanese executive woman’s magazine sent me to photograph the CEO of Aquascutum in Regents Street, W1.

Photography takes me to so many fantastic places meeting lots of wonderful people.
I have worked in some truly great venues around the UK, including The House of Lords and The Dorchester Hotel.  My work takes me off to places people don’t usually get to see.

I specialize in portraits and travel images. Having a portable studio with a variety of backgrounds has many benefits, not least of all it keeps my expenses down which meaning I can charge the customer less; and it allows people (especially children) to be more at ease feeling more comfortable having the photo session done in their own homes.

I photograph products too. This can be done at a clients premises or I often take them away and shoot at my place. Again this keeps the cost down for my clients, as they are not paying the costs of having to hire a studio.

I’m good with Photoshop so often manipulate images to give my clients exactly what they need. Large files for printing up or small files for the web. No trouble.

I charge per job, not per hour.  I think this shows I do not want to waste time or the clients money. Every assignment has its own necessities, requirements and clients need different things at the end.

I also like to travel and have lots of images form around the world. Many have sold through an online agency (www.ALAMY.com).  But I have many more which I still have to organise and get online (!).
