Glasgow based photographer Lindsay Docherty currently specialises in the field of Social and Commercial Portraiture. Lindsay’s interest in photography was nurtured at a very young age by her grandfather and this has lead Lindsay to complete her Diploma in Professional Photography and develop a great deal of experience though her own work and through assisting other photographers such as Mark Mann, Armando Ferrari and Dave Stanton along the way.
In October 2009 at the age of 25 Lindsay started her own business specialising in social portraiture. This has taken Lindsay all over Glasgow and surrounding areas securing contracts with various nurseries as well as carrying out family portraiture in the homes of clients and photographing numerous events throughout the Glasgow Area.
Lindsay also uses her free time to carry out her own personal projects which she has researched and designed to enhance her skills whilst gratifying her need to learn and produce more images to a high standard.
In gaining experience in the field of Boudoir photography as well as carrying out some nature photography Lindsay is set to make some incredibly interesting and diverse contributions to her portfolio in 2010.
By working in various locations and taking on a different range of subjects Lindsay continuously demonstrates her ability to adapt to new situations.
As her own boss, Lindsay is incredibly disciplined with the standard of work she produces as well as the experience of her clients. Lindsay values the contributions of her clients greatly and brings a wealth of experience in client care.
